Flavor, flavor, and even more flavor!


The version 1.2 is here! This time I focused a lot on making the world of Skull Princess a bit more fleshed out with new dialogue, events and NPCs through the entire game! Of course, bug fixes and general upgrades to the game are there too, I can't have a playtest session without finding a shiny new bug I didn't knew it existed on my previous 10+ full playthroughs.

The full changelog:

  • New events with extra characterization and world building added
  • You can now talk with the Alchemist for new dialogue after all the bosses the same way you already could with the Shopkeeper
  • New NPCs added to the existing dungeons
  • Regular bombs now target 3 random enemies and big bombs target all enemies as they should
  • Fixed missing pop-ups for dungeon shops
  • Flatwoods Monster now waste a turn doing nothing if you aren't strong enough to trigger Underdog status
  • Party members affected by fear can no longer be controlled in battle
  • Possessed no longer stops after battle
  • Some physical skills are no longer treated as magic for no reason
  • New items added
  • A new enemy added to the Dark Castle
  • Completely rebalanced the Skull Princess fight
  • The intro sequence now shows you a render of each character
  • All status ailment have new dedicated icons instead of the old colored letters
  • New art added to the art folder
